Here we go! How about this Champion Flying Fish Seiko. It’s a stunner and it sold for 37,600 yen.
If you’ve got 3,465,000 yen to spare, you could own one of Seiko’s most collectible watches. This is a 4520 Observatory Chronometer.
This Astron 2000 Historical Reissue went for 281,000 yen.
I liked the brick pattern on this Seiko 5. Selling price was 10,750 yen.
This is arguably Seiko’s most desirable 7A48 watch. It’s called the Fishing Master. It wasn’t in the best condition, but it received 41 bids and sold for 24,200 yen.
Funny Alba Aqua gear. Hey, I’d wear it! 500 yen.
This is an uncommon Seiko 7K36. I don’t think it met it’s reserve. Opening bid was 52,000 yen.
For the right collector, this is a great item. It’s vintage GS certification paperwork. 3,800 yen
I found the silver and gold markers on this Elnix to be most unusual. Nice condition on this one. 10,000 yen.
I’ve been seeing these “Movement in Motion” Bullhead Chronos frequently turning up on Yahoo Japan. They are a great homage to an older Citizen 8110 design. This one apparently uses a Seiko quartz movement. 9,000 yen. Fun watch.
Wild color (yes it’s legit) on this 7N35 Seiko diver. 7,000 yen
I love the sterile whiteness of this 2008 limited edition G-Shock created as a Hokkaido Tourist promotion. This was a very limited edition of 100 watches. 7,000 yen
Continuing on with the G-Shock theme, here’s a Mickey Mouse themed 5600. This was commissioned by Ships, a Japanese department store which has also released a cool Citizen Diver as well. 24,000 for the most rugged Mickey Mouse watch ever made.
Somewhere, Mike M is quietly smiling. 200,000 for a 7C 300M ScubaPro Seiko.
There was a furious bidding war on the 6185 VFA. When it ended, someone’s wallet was 659,001 yen lighter.
Very rare color and case design for this 7016 Seiko Chronograph. 48,000 yen.
This amused me. It’s a mainspring for a Seiko Stopwatch. You can find almost anything if you look hard enough. 1,000 yen.
Nice Citizen Deluxe. 12,300 yen.
There is an old school Alpinist vibe to this Citizen Junior. Citizen made quite a few cool old dress watches with pictured dials. It’d be fun to try and collect them all. 10,100 yen.
The filligree dial on this old Seiko Liner reminds me of what you often see on some older fountain pens made in the early 1900’s. 30,500 yen.
This Takano wouldn’t even register as much of anything for many collectors. However they have their followers. 40,300 yen for this example shows how unique it is. The dial is spectacular.
Honda has collaborated with Seiko on dozens of watches. Here’s a 4S15 release that sold for 16,000 yen.
Time to move on to eBay offerings. Here’s a Seiko Crystal Chronometer that probably didn’t work. It still sold for $560.00. There was another non-working listing as well that sold for a lower price of $305.00.
Someone outbid me on this set of Seiko playing cards. As far as promotional items go, this is as cool as it gets. $46.06.
I was surprised that this Seiko Spacewalk did not make it’s $14,900 opening bid. I thought it would sell.
Only $28.55 for this Citizen Newmaster. Wow.
For the last watch, here’s a very clean modern Porsche like design look to this older quartz Citizen chronograph. It sold for $163.60.
